Welcome to 6th International Conference 2016

Dear Colleagues,

Greetings from Indian Phytopathological Society.

The Society established in 1947, has been organizing International Conference at regular intervals since 1965. These conferences have been a great success in promoting plant pathological research in different parts of the world, particularly in the tropics and semi-tropics. We are pleased to invite you for the IPS 6th International Conference on "Plant, Pathogens and People" with the mission "Challenges in Plant Pathology to Benefit Humankind" to be held from 23-27th February 2016, at NASC Complex, New Delhi, India to mark 69 years of service to the science at Indian and international level.

The Conference is aimed to provide an ideal opportunity for the interaction of scientists/policy makers/corporate sectors/farmers towards developing holistically integrated future strategies envisaging plant disease management to ensure higher productivity and sustainability. A galaxy of plant pathologists from India and overseas are expected to participate. The conference will have special plenary and invited lectures by eminent dignitaries, concurrent sessions and poster sessions in different areas of plant pathology alongwith a special feature on interaction with farmers
