Suggestions on Revision/Amendments in the Constitution & Byelaws of Indian Phytopathological Society

Dear Esteemed Members:

It is to inform you that a High-Level Committee was constituted during the Annual General Body Meeting of the Society held on January 19, 2020 to review and revise the Byelaws of the Society which was earlier revised in February 1996.

Till date, a series of meetings was organized online as well as offline to discuss the composition of the draft for the revision of the Constitution and Byelaws of the Society as given below.

Virtual meeting for discussion and composition of the first draft

July 24, 2021

Virtual meeting for discussion on the first draft of Constitution and Byelaws of the Society

3.      

August 24, 2021

Byelaws Revision Meeting with IPS Executive Council members

4.      

August 28, 2021

Virtual meeting of IPS Byelaws Revision Committee Meeting

5.      

October 4, 2021 

Physical meeting of Constitution and Byelaws Revision Committee members


The last meeting of the committee was held in the IARI campus, New Delhi on 4th October 2021, and on the basis of suggestions on the draft, the revision was made Article wise.


I am herewith sending the final draft of the Constitution and Byelaws of the Society for your information and suggestions, if any positively by December 31, 2021. After this date, no suggestions will be considered for revision and finalization.
