Inviting nominations for election of the Society for the year 2021

Nominations are invited in the prescribed proforma (Preliminary Ballot) only from members of the Indian Phytopathological Society having voting right for the following office bearers in the Executive Council of the Society as mentioned below.

  • President Elect(2021)
  • Zonal President(2021)
  • Zonal Councillor(2021)

The last date of receiving the nomination at the Society's office is Dec 29, 2020. All the members are requested to nominate for the above mentioned posts and send back the preliminary ballot by due date.

Important Notes:

  • The Society has developed online voting system from this current year (2020).
  • The conventional voting system through sending / receiving of the ballots is withdrawn from next year (i.e. 2021). Only online voting will be available from next year (2021).
  • If you are interested for online voting from this year, you can send your email and mobile number to IPS Secretariat (ipsdis@yahoo.com) to activate your account for online voting.
  • Disseminate this information among the other members of your zone. All the members of the Society are requested to update their email ID and mobile numbers, which is mandatory for online voting system. 
  • Members who have not received the original preliminary ballot paper are requested to download the same from IPS website ( ) and send a request to IPS office by mail/post for http://ipsdis.org/ getting the duplicate ballot number (without ballot number the preliminary ballot paper will be treated as invalid).
  • An envelop containing more than one ballot paper will  be treated as INVALID.
  • The Envelope containing ballot should be super imposed with “Preliminary Ballot 2021” and should be sent to The Secretary, Indian Phytopathological Society, Division of Plant Pathology, IARI, New Delhi 110012.
