Inviting nominations for election of the Society for the year 2026

Nominations are invited in the prescribed proforma (Preliminary Ballot) only from members of the Indian Phytopathological Society having voting right for the following office bearers in the Executive Council of the Society as mentioned below.

  • President Elect(2026)
  • Secretary(2026-2028)
  • Joint Secretary(2026-2028)
  • Treasurer(2026-2028)
  • Zonal President(2026)
  • Zonal Councillor(2026)

The last date of receiving the nomination at the Society's office is Dec 22, 2025.

Important Notes:

  • The Society has developed an online voting system from 2020.
  • The conventional voting system through sending/receiving of the ballots is withdrawn from 2021. Only online voting is available.
  • Members of the Society (Annua or Life Member) having less than two years of continuous standing during (2024 and 2025) and those who have not paid annual dues by July 31, 2025 are not eligible to vote or contest election for any office bearer of the Society.
  • Before Login, please check and ensure your email and mobile number are correct on the member's database available on the IPS website: https://ipsdis.org/allmembers. 
  • If the email /mobile number is not correct, please write a mail to the Secretary, IPS (E-mail: ipsdis@yahoo.com) to update your email and mobile number, failing of which, members will not get the OTP for login. 
  • E-mail ID and mobile numbers are mandatory for online voting.
