Circular (Postponement of IPS Election)

Dear Esteemed Members,

New Year’s Greetings!

This is to inform all the members that the Indian Phytopathological Society (IPS) office, and its functioning from IARI, New Delhi premises is closed; and IPS staffs are not permitted to enter the IARI premises. Therefore, the day-to-day activity of the Society is hampered badly. The EC during its recent meeting dated Jan. 3, 2024 thanked all society members for actively participating in election process and nominated the candidates for various positions. Keeping in view the current situation, EC decided to postpone the ongoing election process which will be completed by March 31, 2024 after discussion in the Annual General Body Meeting to be held on February 2/3, 2024 at ICAR-IISR, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
