Birth & Educations: Born
on May 17th 1985 in Doddalahalli, Kanakapur Taluk, Ramanagara dist
of Karnataka and obtained the BSc (Agri) and MSc (Agri) in Plant Pathology from
University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka and PhD in Plant
Pathology from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu.
Again, obtained the PGDPP (Plant Protection) and PGDIPR (Intellectual Property
Rights) from Annamalai University, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu; and PGDMM
(Marketing Management) and PGDHRM (Human Resource Management) from Karnataka
State Open University (KSOU), Manasa Gangotri, Mysore, Karnataka.
Positions hold: Served
as Scientist at ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Umiam, Meghalaya (April 2013
to October 2013); Scientist at ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Nagaland
Centre, Medziphema, Nagaland (November 2013-December 2019); Scientist (Sr. Scale)
at ICAR-IIMR, Hyderabad from January 2020 to till today.

Achievements:
Presently working in ICAR-Indian Institute of Millets Research, Hyderabad by
handling 1 projects as Principal investigator, 4 projects as Co- Principal
investigator of different area of agriculture with the working experience of 11
years and previously associated under 23 different completed projects of
different funding agencies. So far I have reported diseases as first time in
India, black spot/brown spot disease (Colletotrichum gloeosporoides) of star fruit (Averrhoa carambola) and rust
of fababean caused by Uromyces
vicea-faba. About 51 genome sequences of bio-control agents, plant
pathogenic organisms and antibiotic biosynthetic genes of biocontrol agents
were sequenced. Served as a nodal officer of “National Mission of Sustainable Himalayan Ecosystem” and NICRA projects. Besides, I associated in 6 professional societies as a life member to
update the present knowledge in the specialized field of plant
pathology. He has published the 33 research articles in national and
international journals, 7 review articles, 4 books, 11 technical bulletins, 31
book chapters, 6 successes stories and 14 papers presented in national and
international seminar/symposia.
