Prof. Pratibha Sharma is an ICAR- Emeritus Scientist and former Principal Scientist and Professor of the Division of Plant Pathology, ICAR- Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi. Her major area of research is biological control agents mainly use of Trichoderma, Metarhizium, Beauveria, Pseudomonas spp. and their use in IPM and IDM of different cropping systems. Prof. Sharma has more than 100 peer-reviewed research papers in the national and international journals with a patent on Trichoderma to her credit. Awarded by professional societies including National Crystal Agri award by Krishi Anusandhan and Kisan Vikas Foundation (2014), New Delhi, Sharda Lele award (2014) by Indian Phytopathological Society and Dr. Y. L. Nene outstanding Plant Pathology Teacher award (2019) by Indian Society of Mycology and Plant Pathology. Prof. Sharma’s is presently working on the Consortial application of Trichoderma harzianum and Metarhizium anisopilae against major pests of groundnut and cumin.
